Vision Film 2045
As part of the Vision 2045 documentary film series, we show our activities in relation to sustainability and environmental protection in a short film lasting just over 5 minutes.
Climate Partner certified company
We recognise the importance of preserving the fundamental means of our subsistence in all that we do through the careful use of natural resources. This is why we go beyond the legal requirements and regulations and have set ourselves further sustainability goals, such as the reduction of our CO2 emissions.
To this end, we have the emissions of our company recorded and measured annually in accordance with international standards, such as the Greenhouse Gas Protocol. The sum of all the emissions indicates the Corporate Carbon Footprint (CCF).
We were able to offset these emissions again in 2023 through accredited global environmental protection projects and received the ClimatePartner award for Climate Partner certified company in recognition of our efforts.
Our customers can be sure that we make their products not only according to the latest technological standards but also with our environment in mind.
MANN & SCHRÖDER GmbH IS SMETA VERIFIED
Social responsibility is an important building block in the area of sustainability. As a manufacturing company in particular, labor standards, health and safety are of great relevance. Verification according to the SMETA criteria is therefore essential for us when it comes to ensuring the standards we have set ourselves and constantly initiating further optimizations.
SMETA (Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit) is a procedure for audits in ethical trade that was developed by Sedex. It focuses on the following topics in particular:
- Labor standards: in this area, for example, employment contracts, working hours, and a wide variety of laws and regulations relating to labor standards are assessed.
- Health & safety: compliance with health and safety legislation is checked here. Examples include hazard identification and risk assessment.
Our SMETA verification therefore demonstrates our commitment to ethical and sustainable business practices throughout the supply chain. We are proud of the verification and our ongoing efforts to not only meet minimum requirements, but to constantly set new standards that promote continuous development.
